Two locations that provide a peaceful Christian sanctuary
Whether you visit our “at the Woods” or “at the Lake” location, you will experience a setting perfectly suited to hosting retreats for your group. Both offer quiet environments that invite retreatants to unplug from their daily routines and immerse themselves in a deep exploration of their faith. During these increasingly rare moments, people discover the opportunity to foster rich dialogue, forge lasting friendships, and develop a renewed sense of community.
“at the Lake” is perfect for groups up to 50
Located near Grand Lake St. Mary’s, our Montezuma location offers full use of the facility and grounds and is a short walk to ball parks, nature areas, and walking paths around the lake.
Meeting Rooms
Having full use of the entire facility makes it easy to create a memorable event. This means you don’t share the space with another group. No more worrying about other groups disturbing your quiet time.

Guest rooms
Dorm beds come with sheets, a pillow, and a blanket provided. Guests staying in the Dorms must bring their own towel. The Private rooms are suited for leaders who need quiet time.

Gymnasium
The “Lake” building has a full-size gym with a stage equipped with a large rear projection screen and a connected sound system, perfect for presentations.

Chapel
A beautiful Main Chapel is available for Mass and Prayer services. We provide everything needed to celebrate the Mass, including vestments, Communion hosts, and Sacramental wine. We do not have a Priest on staff, so please get in touch with the St. Charles Living Center to inquire about the availability of a Priest.

“Very truly, I tell you, you are looking for me, not because you saw signs,
but because you ate your fill of the loaves. Do not work for the food that perishes,
but for the food that endures for eternal life, which the Son of Man will give you.”
John 6:26-27
