Facility Overview
When staying at the Lake retreat center in Montezuma, OH, near the beautiful Grand Lake, it’s easy to find God in nature. Opened in 2018, the center is situated on 5 acres of green space, with access to a community park and Windy Point State Park. The property features walking paths, including a Rosary walk and an outdoor Stations of the Cross, along with many inspiring statues—perfect places for prayer. A 25-foot-tall cross overlooks the property, and Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church is located next door. Across the road, you can access the walking and biking trail that leads to Grand Lake State Park.

Meeting Rooms
The Four Seasons Room boasts a charming fireplace and a large-screen TV, creating a welcoming atmosphere. It is highly adaptable to meet your specific requirements. Additionally, our building features three generous meeting rooms, each comfortably accommodating up to 75 individuals, with flexible arrangements tailored to your needs.

Chapel
The chapel comfortably accommodates up to 120 people, providing a wonderful venue for worship gatherings. It is equipped with all necessary supplies for a Catholic Mass, including vestments, altar linens, and liturgical items. This ensures that both clergy and congregation can engage in the service with ease and reverence, fostering a truly uplifting spiritual experience.

Gymnasium
The gym is a wonderfully adaptable space, perfect for a wide range of activities. It comfortably hosts large group sessions and offers courts for basketball, volleyball, and pickleball.
At the north end, you’ll find a full-size stage designed for presentations, complete with a retractable projector screen and an impressive rear-projection AV system. This setup not only elevates any presentation but also makes it ideal for movie nights.
The audio system has all the cables needed to connect to your computer and can be broadcast in the adjacent Four Seasons room.

We offer six inviting guest rooms, each featuring a private bath. Five of these rooms are equipped with two beds, allowing us to welcome additional guests and ensure their stay is enjoyable and relaxing.

Outdoor Places for Reflection
This beautiful 5-acre property features a scenic walking path with audio-enhanced Stations of the Cross and a Rosary walk, with comfortable seating that creates a perfect atmosphere for contemplation and peace.
A focal point of the outdoor space is an inspiring 25′ Cross overlooking the property, a fitting prayer space
Under a free-standing pergola, we offer a large fire pit and seating area for enjoyable evening conversations.
The City Park is adjacent to the property and features baseball fields and large open green space for large-group activities.
